With over 30 years in the automotive industry and a decade as Lead Tech and Shop Foreman at Express, Ed is the mechanical mastermind behind the scene.

Around here, Ed’s kind of a legend. He runs the shop with an “old school” approach—think grease-stained wisdom, no shortcuts, and zero patience for nonsense. He keeps the team in line, the cars in shape, and the tea sweet. If your vehicle’s acting up, trust us: Ed’s already on it—with a socket wrench in one hand and a sarcastic comment in the other.

Clayton “Pate”

Service Advisor / Oil Bay Manager / Shop Beard-in-Chief

If you’ve been to the front counter at Express, you’ve probably already met Pate—and if you haven’t, just look for the guy with the long beard, quick wit, and enough sarcasm to power a small generator.  

A proud U.S. Army Veteran, Pate brought years of mechanical experience from the military and hit the ground running at Express. He’s been part of the backbone of the shop ever since—turning wrenches, managing the oil bay, fielding a million questions at once, and translating customer concerns into real solutions with speed and energy. Loyal to the bone and always two steps ahead, Pate’s the guy who makes chaos look organized.
