2 years of professional, on the job experience specifically with vehicle alignments, and front end work
Be crazy honest

ASE certified or willing to take tests to prove your commitment to excellence

Automotive Technician Job Responsibilities:
As a Service Technician at Express Automotive Service, you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Attitude – Act in a professional manner suitable as to represent a quality organization with which you are employed, always and in every instance projecting an attitude of honesty, integrity, and respectfulness.
Diagnosis – Before performing any diagnostic procedures, it is required that the technicians have a clear understanding of the customer complaint and that the necessary permission to perform the work has been granted. Before recommending teardowns, disassembly, or internal inspection, the technician must ensure that external service or adjusted repair can resolve the customer complaint.
Documentation – All diagnostic procedures, findings, recommendations, and services performed will be appropriately noted and documented in compliance with the procedures outlined by management.
Mechanical Services – All adjustments, repairs, and services will be performed as outlined in a recognized, professional publication. At no time will a minor (lesser) service be recommended when a more severe condition exists or when the performance of a minor service may worsen a pre-existing condition or cause a mechanical failure.
Replace Components – When specific on the technician’s worksheet, all replaced components will be returned to the customer. When not specified, replaced components will be saved until the day after a vehicle is delivered (pick-up).
Final Test Drive – All vehicles are to be inspected and test driven to assure that the customer complaint has been alleviated. All vehicles must be rechecked to ensure the service was done professionally and the vehicle has been cleaned and ready for customer delivery.
Production – 8 or more labor hours a day.
Physical Requirements:
Needs the ability for heavy lifting of up to 120 lbs. to your shoulder’s height regularly. Holding up their body weight as you lean over the top of a vehicle.
The ability to have full range of motion. Swinging heavy tools at shoulders height or below. Be able to climb stairs, walk, squat, crawl, kneel, lay under vehicles and drive a manual transmission vehicle.
Needs the ability to hear noises from the vehicle and try to pinpoint their location. The ability to see damaged or broken parts.
